Tom
Tom POI for Seventh-day Adventist Churches in the UK.
 Got
Tom Tom or a similar Sat Nav system. Download the
files below and add them to the Great Britain map directory on
your Tom Tom. (They must be inside this directory to
work). This will then give you POI for 315 of the Seventh-day
Adventist Churches across England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
From wherever you are in
the UK you will then be able to find the nearest Adventist
Church to your location. Instructions:
Open Tom Tom. Click on the main screen. Click on
"Navigate to" Click on "Point of
Interest". "UK Adventist should appear on your
screen. If not click on the arrow then scroll down to "UK
Adventist."
This will then give you a list of the churches nearest to
your location. (The distances are as the crow flies, not
driving distance). If the church you want is further
away then click on the keyboard symbols (bottom left) and
type in the name of the church you want. Tap on the
church, wait for the route to be calculated, follow the
directions, then enjoy your worship.
YOUR HELP PLEASE! The POI have been added
according to the information supplied to us based on address
and postcode. This means that in many cases the POI will
be extremely accurate and many addresses are being checked for
accuracy by volunteers. In some instances, where the
address supplied has been a little vague, the POI will be
accurate to within a few hundred metres.
In order to increase
the accuracy of the POI we would be very pleased to accept
your submissions for a more accurate fix. To do this, go
to the GPS status on your Sat Nav and email me the exact latitude
and longitude of the site you are visiting. (Go to the home
page to email). To download Right click
and select "Save as" for both of the following
files. UK_Adventist.ov2 UK_Adventist.bmp
Auto route or Map point. Download the CSV file and
then import as pushpins.

Garmin users should download the following file (Beta -- as
yet untested as I do not have a Garmin. Please write and
tell me how it works for you.)

the address of all churches, along with a vicinity map by visiting the BUC
Church Directory.
